OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud to lead the design, implementation, and operation of our global infrastructure environment as we transition to an independent IT organization.Based in Budapest, Hungary, this role will lead a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for cloud platforms, network infrastructure, datacenter/server environments, workplace technologies, and core enterprise services.This is a technical leadership role requiring both strong people management and deep hands-on infrastructure expertise. The ideal candidate has experience operating in complex enterprise environments and can balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced carve-out and transformation environment.ResponsibilitiesLead the global Infrastructure & Cloud function supporting a modern, cloud-first enterprise environmentManage and mentor a team of systems, cloud, and network engineersEstablish operational standards, engineering practices, and infrastructure governanceOwn enterprise infrastructure within Microsoft AzureDesign and manage Azure networking, compute, storage, security, monitoring, and resiliencyManage physical server and virtualization infrastructure including VMwareOversee enterprise networking, DNS, connectivity, and core infrastructure servicesDrive automation, monitoring, and operational excellence initiativesPartner with Security and IAM teams on secure infrastructure designManage vendors, MSPs, and infrastructure transformation initiativesSupport carve-out and migration activities to independent IT operationsQualifications10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and operations3+ years of experience managing technical infrastructure teamsStrong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructureStrong experience with VMware and physical server environmentsKnowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals and infrastructure securityExperience operating hybrid cloud/on-prem enterprise environmentsStrong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Experience in carve-outs, M&A integrations, or infrastructure transformationsExperience supporting global enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud governance practicesRelevant Azure, VMware, or ITIL certificationsLeadership AttributesStrong technical credibility and hands-on mindsetAbility to lead through ambiguity and transformationStrong operational discipline and ownership mentalityCollaborative leadership style with focus on executionAbility to balance strategic direction with tactical deliverySuccess in this Role:Stable, scalable, and secure infrastructure supporting global operationsSuccessful transition to independent infrastructure environmentHigh-performing infrastructure engineering team with strong accountabilityReduced operational complexity through standardization and automationStrong cross-functional partnership across IT and Security teamsCompany Description One Identity enables organizations of all sizes to better secure, manage, monitor, protect, and analyze information and infrastructure to help fuel innovation and drive their businesses forward.
