As a Commercial Operations Senior Supervisor in our Operations function within the Spine division, you’ll be a key people leader responsible for driving customer service excellence, operational efficiency, revenue support, and inventory optimization. You will lead the Commercial Operations team while building strong partnerships with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across the US.What You’ll Do:Lead, coach, and develop the Commercial Operations team (Customer Service and/or Inventory Management) to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and operational excellencePartner with Sales leadership to understand inventory needs and create operational plans that support revenue growth opportunitiesDrive a culture of continuous improvement, process simplification, and best practices across order-to-cash (OTC) processesDevelop and monitor key operational and fulfillment KPIs to ensure alignment and flawless executionEnsure effective utilization and maintenance of ERP (JDE), CRM (Salesforce), and Customer Complaint systems while maintaining SOX compliance and supporting auditsAct as the primary liaison between field sales and internal teams to optimize instrument and implant configurationsGather data for forecasting, planning, and logistical management of loaner and consignment inventoryMeasure inventory performance monthly and lead realignment plans by product lineSupport new product launches, coordinate returns of old inventory, and manage logistics to meet customer demandProvide performance feedback, support talent development, succession planning, and training initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally to improve customer experience, resolve issues, and strengthen commercial operationsWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s degree requiredMinimum 4 years of experience in the medical device industry (orthopedic or spine experience strongly preferred)At least 2 years of customer-facing experiencePrevious people leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of field operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and ERP systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearlyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), JD Edwards (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), MasterControl, and PowerBI or similar reporting toolsStrong problem-solving ability with a collaborative, business-partner mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing multiple prioritiesWhy VB Spine?We believe in growing talent from within. The typical pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits.
