Our client is seeking Junior Software Engineers with Open 3D Engine (O3DE) expertise to help develop high-fidelity 3D environments and simulations that support next-generation AI training. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of game development, simulation, cloud technologies, and AI. Location: - Remote. Job Type: - Contractor. Openings: - 15 Positions Available. Compensation: - $20 - $120 per hour. About the Role: - Leverage your O3DE expertise to help train advanced AI systems for 3D environments and simulations. - Develop high-quality synthetic data and interactive digital worlds that enable AI models to learn, reason, and perform effectively. - Work with cutting-edge technologies across real-time rendering, simulation, game development, and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement interactive 3D scenes and simulations using Open 3D Engine (O3DE). - Utilize O3DE tools including Atom Renderer, Component Entity System, Gems, and Asset Processor to build high-fidelity environments. - Collaborate with stakeholders to transform concepts into functional AI training workflows and simulations. - Integrate Python and C++ scripts to enhance automation and functionality within O3DE projects. - Utilize AWS services to support scalable deployment, asset management, and simulation infrastructure. - Document development processes and provide clear technical updates. - Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance simulation performance to meet AI training objectives. Required Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Open 3D Engine (O3DE) and its core systems and workflows. - Strong proficiency in Python and C++. - Experience building interactive 3D environments from concept through deployment. - Familiarity with Atom Renderer, Component Entity System, Gems, and Asset Processor. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Basic knowledge of AWS and cloud-based development environments. - Background in game development, simulation development, or real-time graphics projects. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting AI training, simulation, or synthetic data generation projects. - Familiarity with asset management pipelines and collaborative development workflows. - Passion for learning and adopting new O3DE tools, features, and engine updates.
