Requirements and responsibilities

ABOUT CODE HEALERS LLC Code Healers LLC is a US-based technology company focused on building and delivering high-quality software solutions. We operate as a remote-first team and believe in a performance-driven culture where your output speaks for itself. We are growing fast and looking for talented developers who can hit the ground running. ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer based in Latin America (LATAM) to build, maintain, and optimise our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure systems. The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, works independently in a remote setup, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP). • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate deployments. • Containerise applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes. • Monitor system performance, uptime, and security — responding to incidents swiftly. • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. • Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with application needs. • Document systems, processes, and runbooks clearly for the wider team. • Communicate progress, blockers, and updates proactively with the team. REQUIREMENTS English Communication • C2 level English — spoken and written. This is a firm, non-negotiable requirement. • Near-native or native English speakers are strongly preferred. • Must communicate clearly and confidently with a US-based team on a daily basis. Experience • Minimum 2–4 years of professional DevOps or cloud infrastructure experience, OR • Strong CS graduates — especially those who studied at US universities and are now based in LATAM — are warmly welcome. • A portfolio, GitHub profile, or strong project samples can supplement formal experience. Technical Skills • Solid experience with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP). • Strong proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration. • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar. • Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or Ansible. • Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring best practices. • Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar) is a plus. • Version control using Git is required. Work Style • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment. • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, suitable home workspace. • Results-driven — we measure output and quality, not hours logged. • Fast learner who adapts quickly to new tools, stacks, and priorities. • Comfortable collaborating daily with a US-based team across time zones. WHAT WE OFFER • 100% remote — work from anywhere in LATAM with a reliable internet connection. • Flexible, results-focused environment with no micromanagement. • Opportunity to collaborate with a talented, international team. • Clear path to full-time employment for strong performers after 2 months.
