We are seeking a highly skilled PHP/Yii2 + Vue Developer who excels at building clean, scalable, and maintainable applications. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer first—someone who understands core development principles and writes thoughtful, reliable code—not just someone checking boxes.
Key technologies include PHP 8.2+, Yii2, and any version of Vue, with MySQL and AWS used occasionally. Additional experience with modern tooling, observability, frontend pipelines, or containerization is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high‑quality backend features using PHP 8.2+ and the Yii2 advanced template.
- Build and maintain responsive, modular frontend components using Vue.
- Manage dependencies efficiently using Composer and relevant Yii2 plugins.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Ensure code quality through proper architecture, clean patterns, testing, and documentation.
- Contribute to debugging, performance optimization, and production support tasks.
- Work occasionally with MySQL and AWS services (S3, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, SQS) as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with PHP 8.2+.
- Hands‑on expertise using Yii2 (advanced template).
- Proven experience with Vue (any version).
- Proficiency with Composer, including Yii2 plugin ecosystem.
- Good understanding of software architecture, maintainability, and scalable coding practices.
- Experience working with MySQL and occasional use of AWS services (S3, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, SQS).
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to write clean, well‑structured code.
Nice to Have
- Redis.
- Background job processing: Yii2 Queue + Beanstalkd.
- Docker + docker-compose for local development.
- Experience with Vue 2 / Vuetify.
- Node.js + Yarn.
- Vue CLI, Webpack 4, Babel toolchain.
- Socket.IO (server + client).
- Experience with Node‑based services (SFTP gateway, retrace/sourcemaps service).
Nginx (HTTP layer).
- Observability and logging tools such as New Relic Infra Agent, Logstash, Filebeat.
Experience with Redoc for API documentation.
