NCDIT-Transportation (NCDIT-T) GIS Team is seeking a Specialist - Expert to support the long-term maintenance and enterprise integration of the NCDOT Hydrography Layer, migrating this mature GIS dataset into the Enterprise GIS environment and providing ongoing operation support until ownership transitions to NCDEQ. The primary focus is to support geometry, event and attribute changes to the GIS data, with responsibilities including data QA/QC, progress reporting, direct SQL Server queries, and ETL process creation and maintenance during this period of management. The goal is accurate, stable and reliable management of the Hydrography Layer within the enterprise environment.
