Requirements and responsibilities

Compensation: $1900-$2000 USD Per Month! Hiring REMOTE Accountant - Multiple positions immediately available. We help US businesses hire applicants from various countries for REMOTE job opportunities, and we have multiple open Accountant positions we need to immediately hire. You would be working directly with the business. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks by recording transactions, categorizing expenses, posting journal entries, and managing the chart of accounts. Perform regular reconciliations for bank, credit card, and merchant accounts, resolving any discrepancies. Track and classify expenses, manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, and maintain vendor and customer records. Support the month-end close process by preparing and posting adjusting entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and generating month-end reports. Prepare financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, along with summary analysis for clients and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with U.S. tax law in bookkeeping and reporting practices, and prepare schedules for tax filing and CPA handoffs. Optimize revenue tracking by setting up and maintaining revenue recognition, invoicing flows, and integrations with Stripe and QuickBooks. Conduct basic financial analysis and variance reports to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue optimization. Preferred Skills & Tools: QuickBooks Online / GAAP Microsoft Excel Stripe integrations Financial analysis U.S. tax compliance Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and bookkeeping. Strong understanding of U.S. tax law and compliance. Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis. Ability to perform detailed reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with revenue recognition and invoicing processes. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
