Requirements and responsibilities


OverviewDirects, leads, conducts, coordinates and prepares staff training activities in the Plasma Logistics Center (PLC) including new employee training program and Monthly Staff Training Activities within the PLC to verify and validate the employees competence to perform roles independently. May occasionally oversee work of others but does not conduct performance appraisals or make hiring, salary, or termination decisions.Internal: GEPD management, quality, and plasma collection departments.External: Health Authorities, government agencies, auditors, and transportation and 3PL providers.Key responsibilitiesDeliver training within the PLC by partnering with the academy training department to ensure training compliance is met.Conducts training and related developmental activities needed to support operational objectives in support of the PLC leadership.Oversees and coordinates the work of PLC designated trainers throughout the facility. Identifies areas of operational opportunity for continuous improvement.Supports management in implementation of corrective actions to eliminate regulatory deficiencies in training.May assist in the development and facilitation of PLC operational training materials and programs.Creates and maintains training records and files to assure compliant training files.Ensures PLC adherence to training Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and annual training requirements, including new procedure training and re-certification activities.Establishes and maintains the ability to perform all tasks within the center; fulfills the role of production employees when the need arises.Reports all unsafe working situations or conditions to supervisor or Manager.Academic experience requiredA Bachelor's degree in one of the sciences, business administration, engineering, or some other related field.Professional experience requiredEssential:Typically requires 2 years of related experience - clinical, Science, Laboratory general business.Preferred:Experience in a medical, Laboratory and/or cGMP regulated environment.Experience with training adult learners.Computing skillsMS Office proficiency is a must.Personal skillsEffective communication and proactive skills.Time Management skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to understand and apply different learning styles.Ability to identify errors and prepare corrective actions.Ability to create positive interpersonal bonds with team.LanguagesVery Good written and spoken English and Arabic
