We invite you to join our client's fresh and enthusiastic team focused on a project with strategic importance for their clients in the hospitality industry. This role centers around supporting a Django + Vue.js-based web application to enhance the client's productivity and efficiency.
One of the highlights of this role involves working with a deployed real-world conversational AI system via web-app integration. You will be part of a project garnering immense traction, with thousands of B2B users already engaged.
As the full-stack developer, you will lead a team, define technical requirements, design software solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
📌 Responsibilities
● Led, mentored, and managed a team of software engineers toward executing demanding projects effectively.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, translating them into scalable and reliable software solutions.
● Design, architect, and develop robust, scalable software systems propelling a web-scale Messaging system.
● Drive software development best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
● Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance the development process efficiency and effectiveness.
● Ensure seamless integration with business components such as conversational AI systems, payment gateways, customer support tools, and message delivery platforms.
● Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback on coding standards, scalability, and maintainability.
● Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize features, estimate project timelines, and manage expectations.
📌 Requirements
● Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
● Proven experience as a software engineer with a stellar track record of delivering scalable software solutions.
● Full-stack development expertise, proficient in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or JavaScript.
● Familiarity with modern web technologies like Vue.js, Node.js, React, or Next.js.
● Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
● Strong relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and database optimization knowledge.
● Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar.
● Familiarity with messaging apps, Twilio / communications SaaS, and related technologies.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with the drive to tackle complex technical challenges.
● Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of effective collaboration.
● Ability to manage projects and priorities, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
● Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
● Strong work ethic and the determination to drive further even with obstacles.
● Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
