Zscaler is seeking a Senior Data Center Deployment Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working within production Data Center environments and a deep understanding of server and network components and cables. The role involves packing and unpacking servers, installing server and network devices, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other teams to validate infrastructure. Occasional after-hours work and travel may be required. If you are passionate about digital transformation and have the required experience, we encourage you to apply! Responsibilities: - Pack and unpack servers, network hardware, and related equipment - Install server and network devices into production data centers and validate with other teams - Complete host and network cabling within production data centers - Install structured fiber plants into production data centers - Troubleshoot issues with server and network infrastructure - Repair or replace server and network components and collaborate with other teams to validate - Engage and assist remote Smart Hands and other 3rd parties as needed - Attend team meetings to plan and schedule installations, maintenance, and repair work - Work with relevant groups to ensure all installed equipment is fully validated - Occasional after-hours work and travel may be required
