We are looking for an International Buyer to join our team in Bogotá. In this role, you will be responsible for managing product categories and supplier portfolios, identifying purchasing opportunities in international markets, and negotiating the best commercial terms to achieve cost, quality, and lead-time objectives.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Identify and purchase overstocks, liquidations, and unsold goods at competitive prices in international markets.
✅ Source and develop new suppliers and business opportunities.
✅ Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and purchasing conditions to secure the best possible deals.
✅ Manage purchase orders and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
✅ Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong business relationships.
✅ Handle supplier and customer claims, disputes, and issue resolution effectively.
✅ Collaborate closely with managers and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
✅ Achieve purchasing targets and contribute to continuous process improvements.
What We're Looking For
✔ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, International Trade, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
✔ Proven experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing, Trading, or Supplier Negotiation.
✔ Experience in International Buying or International Purchasing is highly preferred.
✔ Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
✔ Commercially driven mindset with strong analytical abilities.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
✔ Advanced English proficiency required.
✔ French language skills are a strong plus.
