Requirements and responsibilities


- Chainguard is on a mission to secure the software supply chain by default - Founded by industry's leading experts on open source software, security, and cloud native development - Backed by Sequoia, Amplify Partners, the Chainsmokers, and more We are looking for an experienced Federal Sales Leader to lead Chainguard’s growth into the federal market. In this newly created position, you will report directly to the VP of Sales, and be responsible for developing and executing our Federal strategy and building the GTM. Responsibilities: - Design and drive the GTM strategy for Federal Sales - Leverage, cultivate, and grow relationships with influential contacts at various Federal departments and agencies - Lead Chainguard’s response to FED proposals + RFP’s - Proactively inform internal stakeholders on progress, roadblocks and opportunities - Collaborate internally with sales, engineering, product, marketing, partnerships and legal to drive FED revenue and pipeline - Manage and analyze KPIs including accurate forecasting, pipeline generation, expansion/renewal - Eventually, help recruit all critical functions including FED Sales, Pre-Sales, BDR’s, Partnerships
