Requirements and responsibilities

Our client, A fast-paced tech start-up, is seeking to employ a talented Full Stack Python Developer to work on their AI, machine learning-based technology platform as part of an international team. The technology is the first of its kind in the world and is in an exciting development phase post proof of concept and upfront client sales. The position will report to the Chief Technology Officer in Sydney, Australia, and would require the Full Stack Python Developer the ability to add value to the team and technology. There are many advantages to being with an early-stage tech start-up with a view to cementing itself as a world-class player. About Our Customer: The company is an industry leader in its perspective field and is developing powerful business process web applications that help other businesses become more successful. The technology is pivotal in providing a platform that accelerates the performance of a business and is instrumental in dual customer experience asset delivery. About the Role: -The successful candidate should have the following: -A Tertiary qualification -Three or more years’ of experience in commercial software development -A strong working knowledge of modern web services and how to build and run them -A strong understanding of database management systems -Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and Serverless stack. -This is a permanent full-time role. -The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: -Developing, enhancing, modifying, and/or maintaining backend applications in the AWS environment. -Distributing and deploying of globally replicated system. -Perform code reviews and share ownership of the code base. -Collaboration with the business team, defining the overall functions and features that will be incorporated into the developed system. Requirements : -Strong Python development experience - 3+ years -Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS, SQS) -Experience with Elastic Search -Practical experience implementing APIs and integrating with third-party APIs
