Requirements and responsibilities

Job Summary: - We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative professional to join our team as a DevOps Engineer / Release Manager. - This role will be responsible for improving software delivery processes, managing CI/CD and deployment automation, supporting cloud-based infrastructure, and overseeing the software release lifecycle. - The ideal candidate combines strong DevOps expertise with disciplined release management practices to ensure reliable, efficient, and predictable software delivery. - This individual will work closely with Engineering, QA, Product, and Operations teams to improve deployment processes, maintain platform stability, and coordinate successful releases across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities: DevOps: - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes. - Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily within Microsoft Azure. - Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform reliability. - Implement infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code practices. - Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes and operational efficiency. Release Management: - Coordinate and manage software releases across multiple teams and environments. - Ensure release readiness through planning, validation, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication. - Manage release branches, deployments, database migrations, and production releases. - Maintain release documentation, release notes, and deployment procedures. - Facilitate communication between Engineering, QA, Product, and Operations teams throughout the release cycle. - Monitor and resolve release-related issues and support post-release activities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Management, Software Engineering, or a related role. - Experience with CI/CD platforms and deployment automation. - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. - Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
