I’m a Quality Engineering Executive with 10+ years of experience cutting through noise and helping teams actually deliver quality software. I build and scale high-performing test/engineering teams, weave quality practices directly into agile workflows, mentor teams and design strategies that fit the reality of the business—not buzzwords. I’ve led at both startups and large enterprises, and I’ve moved from management to individual contributor and back again—intentionally. That cycle keeps my leadership grounded and my technical skills sharp. I’ve also pushed the field forward as President of the Association for Software Testing, where I became known for advancing industry practices, and calling BS on ineffective approaches.
I stay connected to the community by writing Shattered Illusions, a newsletter on systems thinking, quality, and software testing. I also run TestingConferences.org, an open source project and newsletter that curates global software testing conferences and workshops in collaboration with the testing community.
LinkedIn is my living CV—intentionally detailed, openly shared, and always evolving—so if you’re curious, scroll down for the full story. If you want to know more about my profile picture, ask!
