Responsibilities

About the Role Seven Seas Workforce Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering solutions company in Iraq for an experienced Siemens VFD Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical service, troubleshooting, maintenance and commissioning support for Siemens Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Variable Frequency Drives at customer/project sites. Key Responsibilities Service, troubleshoot, maintain and commission Siemens MV and LV VFDs. Diagnose drive faults and implement effective technical solutions. Provide on-site technical support to customers and project teams. Support commissioning, testing and fault-finding activities. Work with industrial electrical, automation and drive-control systems. Maintain professional customer relationships and provide technical assistance. Support technical sales/customer development activities where required. Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant Siemens VFD/Drives experience. Strong hands-on experience with MV and LV drives. Proven experience in service, troubleshooting, maintenance and commissioning. Strong fault-diagnosis and problem-solving capability. Experience in industrial plants, power, oil & gas, utilities, automation or major infrastructure projects preferred. Technical sales or business-development experience is an advantage. English: Good professional communication skills. Arabic and Kurdish: Highly desirable. Ability to work independently at customer/project sites.
