You’ll be part of a small, agile team that builds and manages the fastest growing social networks for people living with chronic health conditions.Our tech stack is built around Ruby on Rails, Elasticsearch, Foundation/jQuery, and MongoDB running on AWS. We’re looking for developers with some experience in any of these core technologies and a readiness to learn and grow in others.What you'll doCollaborate with the Product and Development teams to build and manage MyHealthTeam’s social networks.Keep an agile and test-driven mindset.Be an all-rounder who can work as a full stack developer or manage our production AWS environment.QualificationsA bachelor's degree in computer science or math, or the equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, or AWSFamiliarity with TDD/BDDA love of clean codeExperience with AI-assisted code generationMotivation to work on projects that make a difference for people with chronic health conditionsSkills That Aren’t Required But Definitely a PlusExperience with ZURB Foundation and ElasticsearchExperience with Amazon Bedrock or a similar RAG solutionOptional: If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, you are welcome to work at our office in downtown San Francisco. Others in the area come in around twice per week.
