Requirements and responsibilities

Company Overview: - At AgeTech Leadership Labs, we are building the foundational research base for the Longevity Economy, the economy of a world where living to 100 years is becoming normal, not rare. - We argue that the Longevity Economy is fundamentally an infrastructure build story. - Apart from our core concepts, which are well defined, many of our other ideas are still being shaped. - We are looking for interns who thrive when the work involves defining and building what does not yet exist in its full form. Role Description: - This is a remote internship. - You will be part of a regional intern team with a coordinator who will lead the problem statement. - Day-to-day, you will gather and analyze information from diverse sources. - You will collaborate with the team on experimental initiatives. - You will contribute your own ideas. - You will maintain clear, organized documentation. - The role offers exposure to thought leadership, ecosystem building, and practical innovation in the fast-emerging Longevity Economy, one of the most consequential and least-mapped economic transitions of our time. - Approved contributions will be credited to you as a named research contributor in ALL's published working papers. Problem Statements: - Digital Exclusion: Solving digital exclusion in a rapidly digitizing world, so that the ageing population is not left behind as technology and services move online. - Senior Living Standards: As economic interest in senior living rises sharply, what standards should exist across design, policy, and affordability to prevent grey washing, the marketing of senior living without the substance behind it? - Preventive Healthcare: As the world shifts from treating illness to preventing it, how must healthcare be reimagined to be affordable, available, and accessible for the ageing population? - Longevity Inflation Index: Defining the basket of goods and services that should be measured to calculate a Longevity Inflation Index, the true cost of ageing that standard inflation measures miss. Qualifications: - Curiosity, adaptability, and self-direction. - You are comfortable working independently, managing your own time, and collaborating across a distributed team. - Strong research and analytical skills. - You can synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, well-structured insights. - Interest in ageing and the Longevity Economy. - Background in any of the following is welcome: innovation, design, policy, finance, economics, public policy, public health, architecture, or urban planning. - We deliberately recruit across disciplines because the strongest ideas emerge when different perspectives meet.
