Job Summary: As a German Language Expert, you will apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required; your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record clear, high-quality German audio samples to support AI model development.
- Annotate speech data, ensuring precise linguistic and phonetic accuracy.
- Contribute to the design and execution of speech data collection workflows.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated outputs to enhance language understanding and pronunciation.
- Work collaboratively with the customer's team to maintain consistency and excellence across all tasks.
- Apply your knowledge of German phonetics and pronunciation in all aspects of the workflow.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver insights and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Main qualification: Native fluency in German and deep familiarity with regional accents and nuances.
- Proficiency in annotation and speech data collection processes.
- Understanding of phonetics, pronunciation, and linguistic principles.
- Previous experience in audio recording, such as voice acting, audio engineering, podcasting, or communications, is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with AI projects or training data annotation tools.
- Background in linguistics, audio engineering, or related fields.
