Requirements and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Developer to join a high-impact enterprise data governance initiative supporting a complex global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP MDG, MDG-F, MM/BP, ABAP, OData, and SAP ECC/S/4HANA, with proven experience designing and implementing scalable master data governance solutions across large enterprise environments.A key focus of this role will be supporting master data governance initiatives, acquisition integrations, and cloud transformation programs, including movement of data from private cloud to public cloud environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and enhance SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutionsSupport SAP MDG for Materials Management (MDG-MM) and Finance (MDG-F)Design and implement BRF+ business rules for: Data Validation; Data Derivation; Workflow Routing; Error HandlingDevelop and troubleshoot ABAP enhancements, workflows, and interfacesSupport integration between SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and external systemsParticipate in cloud migration and acquisition integration initiativesEnsure data quality, compliance, and governance standards are maintained across the enterpriseRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)Expertise in SAP MDG-F (Finance)Experience with MDG for Materials Management (MM)Strong knowledge of Business Partner (BP) processesExperience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANAExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred ExperienceMinimum 2 Full Lifecycle SAP MDG-F ImplementationsExperience with BRF+ Rule ModelingExperience with: Decision Tables; Rule Services; Rule Simulation; Error Handling & TraceabilityExperience supporting acquisition integrations and enterprise master data harmonizationExperience moving data from private cloud to public cloud environmentsExperience with cloud-based SAP MDG implementationsExperience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) extensions for MDGIdeal CandidateStrong SAP MDG technical expert with development-focused experienceComfortable interacting directly with business stakeholders and leadership teamsExperienced working in large-scale global enterprise environmentsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAble to drive solutions independently while collaborating across functional and technical teams
