Location: Remote (USA or LATAM Nearshore) Reports To: Senior Manager, Mobile Engineering About the Role: We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Mobile Engineering team. In this role, you will design and implement solutions that empower mobile teams with deep, actionable insights into user interactions—without compromising performance or privacy. You will work on high-impact projects, collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integrations and exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities: * Apply advanced techniques, including reverse engineering, disassembly, decompilation, and debugging, to analyze iOS frameworks and third-party code, enabling accurate user session reconstructions with a strong emphasis on privacy. * Develop cross-platform code in Rust for shared crates, including features such as data sanitization, networking with Flatbuffers, automated testing, and performance optimizations for asset uploads. * Collaborate with Go API and TypeScript frontend specialists to achieve minimal performance overhead on devices while ensuring high-fidelity session replays. * Stay ahead of iOS advancements by engineering support for emerging technologies like SwiftUI, Live Activities, and RealityKit. * Contribute innovative feature ideas that help customers build better digital experiences and streamline mobile engineering workflows. Performance Goals: Within Six Months: * Diagnose and resolve complex issues in our SDK within widely used consumer apps in the App Store. * Deliver improvements that simplify integration and reduce developer friction in Xcode, making adoption faster and easier. Within Twelve Months: * Launch impactful Application Performance Monitoring (APM) features in the SDK to help teams identify and resolve performance issues quickly. * Design and release innovative mobile Product Analytics capabilities (e.g., Forced Restart signal) that surface deep UX friction insights through advanced session capture techniques. Qualifications * Proven experience in iOS development, with expertise in Swift and Objective-C. * Strong skills in reverse engineering, debugging, and performance optimization. * Experience with Rust or a strong willingness to learn. * Familiarity with emerging iOS technologies (SwiftUI, Live Activities, RealityKit). * Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
