With over 10 years of experience, Zscaler serves thousands of enterprise customers globally and is committed to making the cloud a safe place for business. Zscaler is seeking a talented Principal SWE to join the team developing a Firewall and Web proxy solution delivered as a service through the cloud. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of software development experience in large-scale commercial networking oriented applications, expert-level programming skills in C/UNIX/RTOS, and experience with load balancers, IPS/IDS, routers, and firewall products in multi-threading/multi-core/fault-tolerant real-time embedded platforms. The candidate should be a self-starter, quick-learner, and able to collaborate with others in a team environment. A BS/MS degree in Engineering/Computer Science is required. Responsibilities: - Develop a Firewall and Web proxy solution delivered as a service through the cloud - Utilize expert-level programming skills in C/UNIX/RTOS - Collaborate with the team to develop large-scale commercial networking oriented applications - Ensure fault tolerance and high performance computing in the development process
