As an Airtable Developer at Singular, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, automation-driven systems using Airtable as a core platform. Your role will focus on transforming operational processes into efficient, data-driven solutions that improve productivity, reduce manual work, and maximize business impact.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect workflows, implement automations, and integrate external tools (including AI-powered solutions) that support our mission of driving sustainable growth through innovation.
Airtable Architecture & Data Modeling:
- Design and maintain well-structured Airtable bases, including tables, relationships, rollups, and formulas.
- Define scalable data models aligned with operational and business needs.
- Ensure data integrity, performance, and long-term maintainability.
Views & Interfaces:
- Create customized functional views for different teams, optimized for daily operations.
- Design Airtable Interfaces as user-friendly, role-based mini-apps that allow interaction without direct base access.
- Manage permissions and access levels to reduce errors and dependency on technical users.
Automations:
- Build and optimize native Airtable automations, defining clear triggers and actions.
- Identify and resolve redundant or inefficient automation logic.
- Monitor limits, errors, and performance to ensure stability.
Advanced Automations & Integrations:
- Implement complex workflows using Make, Zapier, and n8n, selecting the right tool based on complexity, scalability, and cost.
- Use n8n for advanced logic, conditional flows, loops, error handling, and API integrations.
- Integrate Airtable with third-party platforms (CRMs, internal tools, Slack, email, AI services, etc.).
- Clearly explain and document when and why external automation tools are preferred over native Airtable solutions.
Documentation & Process Design:
- Create clear documentation of workflows, automations, and system architecture.
- Develop basic process diagrams and flowcharts to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Ensure solutions are understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency.
- Proactively propose enhancements based on usage, feedback, and business needs.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is essential, with certifications in Airtable or similar databases highly desirable.
- Candidates should have a keen interest in AI-powered solutions and continuous learning, enabling effective collaboration and delivery of client-centric, agile solutions that drive sustainable growth and maximize ROI.
