About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CAD Draftsperson who can take rough hand sketches, concepts, and markups and transform them into professional, client-ready landscape design plans. This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of landscape layouts, and the ability to produce clean and accurate drawings suitable for client presentations.
This position is open for immediate hire, and we are looking for someone who can start right away
Key Responsibilities
-Convert hand-drawn sketches, rough concepts, and notes into polished CAD landscape design plans
-Prepare drawings suitable for client presentations, permitting, and design reviews
-Revise and update plans based on feedback from designers or clients
-Ensure accuracy, scale, and consistency across all drawings
-Organize CAD files, layers, and annotations according to standards
-Collaborate remotely with designers and project stakeholders
Required Qualifications
-Proven experience as a CAD Draftsperson, preferably in landscape design
-Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (landscape-focused experience is a plus)
-Ability to interpret rough sketches and translate concepts into professional drawings
-Excellent attention to detail and design accuracy
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
-Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
Preferred (Nice to Have)
-Experience with landscape construction documents
-Knowledge of planting plans, hardscape layouts, or site plans
-Experience working with architects, landscape designers, or contractors
