Job DescriptionThe Lead Email Marketing Specialist role is integral to enhancing customer engagement and fulfilling our agency's strategic goals in servicing our client’s owned marketing. This position is vital for ensuring that our email and SMS campaigns effectively resonate with client brands and marketing objectives, directly impacting client satisfaction and retention. The role exists to combine creativity with technical acumen, ensuring innovative, compliant, and effective email marketing strategies that uphold our agency's commitment to excellence. The Lead Email Marketing Specialist also directly manages and mentors team members, ensuring high quality work efforts.Job Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Leadership: Lead and oversee the team to develop a motivated, skilled, and cohesive team.1:1 Meetings & Annual Reviews: Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and annual performance reviews with direct reports, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for continuous professional development and growth of team members.Campaign Design and Execution: Develop, write and build email / SMS marketing campaigns and workflows that align with brand guidelines, unique user lifecycle touchpoints and marketing goals.Collaboration and Strategy Integration: Collaborate with Client Success Manager, designers, and other team members to ensure that the email campaigns align with overall marketing strategies and customer journey mapping, integrating insights from various stakeholders into the campaign execution.Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure that campaign goals are understood and that email designs meet the brief’s requirements and objectives.Performance Monitoring and Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor the performance of email campaigns and workflows to ensure quality and effectiveness, and make optimization recommendations as necessary.Compliance and Best Practices Adherence: Ensure all email campaigns comply with industry best practices and legal standards, including CAN-SPAM regulations and GDPR where applicable, maintaining high standards of data privacy and email deliverability.Other duties as assigned
