SingleStore is venture-backed and headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Sunnyvale, Raleigh, Seattle, Boston, London, Lisbon, Bangalore, Dublin and Kyiv. We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who is passionate about removing data bottlenecks for customers and enabling real-time data capabilities. The ideal candidate will work directly with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer pain points and provide value-based demonstrations, presentations, and support proof of concepts to validate proposed solutions. The Solutions Engineer must share our passion for real-time data, fast analytics, and simplified data architecture. This role involves engaging with both current and prospective clients, presenting and demonstrating SingleStore product offerings, and providing valuable feedback to product teams based on client interactions. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a technical role, excellent presentation and communication skills, and a broad range of experience within large-scale database and/or data warehousing technologies. Proficiency in ANSI SQL query languages, Python, Scala, or Java, and experience with data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and Apache Airflow are required. Understanding of private and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is also essential. Responsibilities: - Engage with both current and prospective clients to understand their technical and business challenges - Present and demonstrate SingleStore product offering to Fortune 500 companies. - Enthusiastic about the data analytics and data engineering landscape - Provide valuable feedback to product teams based on client interactions - Stay up to date with database technologies and the SingleStore product offerings
