Our client Medeloop is looking for their next senior front-end developer.
🟣 Job summary:
As a senior front-end engineer at Medeloop, you will lead the development of high-quality web applications that delight and empower researchers and participants.
You will work closely with our product team to understand requirements and build new features and improvements.
Additionally, you will work with the backend team to design and implement API interfaces using the backend for front-end (BFF) patterns and GraphQL.
🟣 Role and responsibilities:
🔸 Led the development and maintenance of scalable and responsive web applications using React and other front-end technologies
🔸 Collaborate with the backend team to design and implement API interfaces using the backend for front-end (BFF) patterns and GraphQL
🔸 Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
🔸 Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
🔸 Optimize application performance for speed and scalability
🔸 Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
🔸 Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices for front-end development
🔸 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development, including patterns such as BFF and GraphQL
🟣 Requirements:
✅ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
✅ 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on React
✅ Experience working in the health tech space is a plus
✅ Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
✅ Experience with components, libraries, and frameworks like Tailwind, Material UI, CanvasJS, Lottie, and others
✅ Experience with React states management libraries such as Redux or MobX
✅ Experience with geocoding and mapping with Google Maps and Geographic Information Systems like ArcGIS
✅ Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
✅ Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Enzyme
✅ Experience with backend for front-end (BFF) patterns and GraphQL
✅ Experience with continuous deployment and integration of front-end applications
✅ Experience with AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure providers
✅ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✅ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
