We are recruiting on behalf of our client, The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). We are seeking an experienced Project Leader for their Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) team. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge and leadership in OpenText eDOCS systems, with a proven history of managing complex projects and mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and support FDOT’s OpenText ECM eDOCS v5.X+ in a distributed, hybrid environment (on-prem + Azure). * Perform server maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure performance, availability, and security. * Manage cloud migrations and post-migration support in Microsoft Azure. * Provide expert-level issue resolution and serve as EDMS liaison across business and IT teams. * Develop and deliver training materials and user documentation. * Coordinate technical efforts across multiple teams for large-scale upgrades and implementations. * Maintain backup and recovery processes for EDMS environments and databases. * Analyze and improve document workflows, control processes, and information governance. This is an onsite position to Tallahassee, FL – applicants should reside in Tallahassee. Requirements: * 5+ years in OpenText eDOCS EDMS (leadership or senior technical role preferred). * 3–5 years in systems analysis or programming. * Experience supporting large-scale implementations, upgrades, and consolidations. * Deep understanding of server infrastructure, document management, and records archiving standards. * Skilled in .NET or other programming languages. * Familiarity with Azure VMs, networking, security, and cloud best practices. Preferred Skills: * Project Management knowledge (PMBOK). * Strong SQL and database management experience. * Experience creating, supporting, and documenting document management tools and processes. * Ability to analyze workflows and design information solutions. * Knowledge of spatial data applications and indexing.
