Responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and commission Siemens Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). - Diagnose complex drive faults and implement effective, long-term technical solutions to minimize downtime. - Provide comprehensive on-site technical support to customers and project teams throughout Iraq. - Support commissioning, testing, and systematic fault-finding activities for industrial drive installations. - Work extensively with industrial electrical, automation, and drive-control systems to ensure optimal performance. - Maintain professional customer relationships by providing clear communication and expert technical assistance. - Support technical sales and customer development activities by identifying opportunities and providing product expertise where required. - Document service activities, including detailed reports on repairs, maintenance schedules, and commissioning results. - Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and site-specific operational protocols. Requirements: - Proven experience in the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of Siemens MV and LV VFD systems. - Strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, and power electronics. - Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for drive configuration and troubleshooting. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in challenging field environments. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer-facing interactions. - Willingness and ability to travel to various project sites across Iraq as required by the business. - Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all technical operations. - Relevant technical certification or degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
