Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Architect to join a high-impact project and design enterprise-scale data platforms using Databricks and cloud technologies. Role: Databricks ArchitectDesign and implement scalable data platforms using Databricks, Delta Lake & Apache SparkBuild and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch & streaming workloadsDefine cluster sizing, cost optimization, and performance tuning strategiesImplement governance, security, RBAC, encryption, and Unity CatalogCreate CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code deploymentsEvaluate and implement Databricks features like Delta Live Tables, Auto Loader, Photon, etc.Collaborate with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, SREs & Product teamsRequired Skills:Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake & SQLExpertise in Python and/or Scala for Spark developmentExperience with AWS / Azure / GCP Databricks environmentsCI/CD, Terraform / ARM / CloudFormation knowledgeSpark performance tuning & debugging expertiseStrong communication and stakeholder management skills⭐ Nice to Have:Databricks CertificationsDelta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, Auto Loader, PhotonKafka / Kinesis / Structured StreamingMLflow / MLOps exposureMigration experience from Hadoop/on-prem to Databricks⚠️ Note: Dual employment is not allowed by the client and must be terminated if applicable.📩 Interested candidates can share their updated resume or tag relevant connections mail id: syed.faizan@phitechlabs.com
