You will help set standards, tooling, security guardrails, and implement new platform services in the Azure Cloud, extending security and delivery capabilities for new and existing Azure applications.What you will be doingDesign, build and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements.Help govern and maintain various SaaS environments across Azure subscriptions.Collaborate with architecture and information security teams to design, implement, and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.Implement and maintain Azure security best practices to ensure secure use and protection of company resources and data.Automate and streamline cloud infrastructure deployments and processes using scripting languages, configuration management, and Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.Monitor and resolve any cloud-related issues in a timely and effective manner.Automate common operational tasks to improve operational efficiencies.Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions with Azure best practices and First Advantage’s architectural and services standards.Manage and optimize Azure resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and perform occasional after-hours support.Assist with the development of enterprise cloud standards and associated documentation.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science – or equivalent experienceWhat we are looking for7–12 years of experience working in an Agile software development and DevOps process environment, with hands-on approach to crafting software and a focus on automation of operational concerns.Strong expertise in at least 2 of these languages: C#, Java/other JVM, JavaScript/NodeJs (good to have), Typescript, Python.Proficiency with scripting languages: PowerShell and Bash for automation, tooling, and CI/CD orchestration in Azure environments.Strong IaC experience using Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Azure SDKs.Experience with different CI/CD pipeline orchestrators including Jenkins or GitHub Actions.Extensive experience with core Azure services: Container Apps, Storage (Blob), Virtual Network, NSGs, Application Gateway / Front Door, RBAC & Microsoft Entra ID, Functions, Azure Policy, Key Vault.Preferred experience with Azure security and governance tools such as Management Groups and Landing Zones; Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Update Management, Automation, Azure Arc.Preferred experience designing and implementing highly available systems and infrastructure configuration in Azure.Other knowledge, skills, abilitiesA-type personality, self-driven and motivated by working on new technologies.Analytical problem solver with attention to detail.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task.Ability to pick up new technology and concepts quickly.Works independently with minimal supervision.Knows the difference between perfection and good enough.Excellent verbal and written communication.Employee benefits (India region)Most roles enabled with the ability to work remotely with occasional business travel; hybrid working model.Comprehensive employee leave policy.Career progressions through internal job opportunities and global talent mobility programs.Career development: Mentoring Program, People Management Program, cross-functions training, soft skills training.Continuous learning and development opportunities; upskilling and reskilling via e-learning platforms.Training and certification reimbursement programs.Medical insurance coverage for employees and parental insurance benefits available; calendarized employee wellness programs.Quarterly rewards and recognition program.Other attractive allowances: weekend working, holiday pay, relocation assistance, maternity bonus, creche allowance, and other allowances.
