Join us to help make an impact.Your OpportunityThe Critical Care Clinical Editor will be responsible for supporting the Section Editor in overseeing the development and maintenance of high-quality content within the critical care domain, applying both clinical knowledge/experience and principles of evidence-based practice. The candidate must have the ability to analyze and critically appraise medical, nursing, and allied health research and literature, write clinical topics, and edit work produced by the clinical editorial team. Direct patient care experience and proficiency in systematic literature searching are required.What You'll DoWrite new clinical content in several formats for point-of-care tools.Keep library of current clinical content up to date and relevantTake initiative to identify areas of potential product developmentMake decisions in consultation with the Section Editor that affect larger groups and more junior team membersServe as content specialist within specific content domain(s), facilitate topic enhancement and development, perform systematic literature surveillance, and regularly review content collectionSupport culture of teamwork and writer development through effective editing and feedbackMaintain quality of content and participate in quality initiativesProject co-manage/co-lead editorial tasks/initiatives as required with Section Editor or Editor-in-ChiefOther duties as assigned by supervisor About YouBachelor’s degree or higher in nursingNursing licensure current and in good standingDirect patient care experience in critical care setting. Experience in emergency setting a plus> 2 years of writing experience related to medical or scientific contentDemonstrated understanding/use of principles of evidence-based practice and health information technology to support clinical decision makingDemonstrated ability to extract relevant clinical information from research and write clinical content concisely, exercising judgment to produce content with minimal errorsAbility to self-manage multiple priorities within deadlines and report on work producedKnowledge of PubMed, CINAHL search strategies> 2 years’ experience with MS Office Suite including Word (with use of track changes) and ExcelUnderstanding of business process and policies to solve problems, self-motivated to look for solutionsWhat Sets You Apart:Advanced degree in a healthcare-related fieldSpecialty certification current and in good standingExperience assessing evidence and performing critical appraisalStatistical skills sufficient to analyze clinical relevance of all study typesDemonstrated leadership qualities, such as initiative and a strong work ethicDemonstrated interpersonal skills such that feedback is effectively and constructively given and receivedMotivated self-learner with focus on team successProficiency with specific Dynamic Health processes may serve in lieu of minimum required qualificationsExperience with content management systems and project tracking programs (e.g., Oxygen, monday, Distiller)Our Hybrid Work Policy: We value the balance of remote focus and in-person connection.
