Responsibilities and deliverables

Hiring: Software Engineer (Human Data Platforms). Location: - Remote (Must overlap PST timezone by at least 6-8 hours). Job Type: - Full-time. Openings: - 1 Position. Compensation: - $50 - $70/hour. Key Responsibilities: - Build and ship features across backend (Python/FastAPI) and frontend (React/Next.js/TypeScript). - Develop data pipelines for model evaluation and control systems. - Design and maintain secure document pipelines across cloud storage environments. - Build OCR and search solutions for PDFs, images, and scanned documents. - Parse, validate, and manage complex nested JSON structures. - Develop document tooling for generating, editing, and annotating PDFs and images. - Debug, optimize, and scale data pipelines and storage systems. - Improve application performance, reliability, and overall system architecture. - Own projects end-to-end and contribute across the entire technology stack. Required Qualifications: - Strong experience with Python and FastAPI. - Strong frontend development experience using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Comfortable working across backend, frontend, and data infrastructure. - Solid understanding of APIs, SQL, asynchronous systems, and data modeling. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience building and maintaining complex data systems or pipelines. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to execute independently. - High ownership mindset with excellent collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience building LLM or AI-powered systems. - Experience with OCR, document processing, or search technologies. - Knowledge of secure data handling, permissions, and access control systems. - Experience building and shipping production-grade software products. - Familiarity with PostgreSQL and modern cloud-native architectures.
