Our culture is collegial and supportive, and we don’t believe in office politics.Who You AreYou are customer-oriented and believe professional services should be a partnership built on solid communication and proactive support.You thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated to get things done and done well.You enjoy new challenges and believe you should leave situations and people better than you found them.What You’ll DoYou will work with our client companies in a variety of industries and geographies, helping to ensure their HR function operates smoothly, creating positive company cultures, and providing assistance and resources to their teams throughout the employee lifecycle.A Day in the LifeOnboard and offboard team membersMaintain employee files and process documentationRevise and update company handbooks, including first drafts of new policiesEnsure compliance with applicable federal and state labor regulationsAssist with leave management, including FMLAAssist with benefits enrollment and inquiriesCoordinate performance reviews and stay interviewsCoordinate workplace investigations, preparing reports as neededOversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system updates Support talent acquisition efforts with resume reviews, phone screens, and reference checksHR Milestones Under Your BeltA minimum of 3 years of HR experienceA consulting mindset with excellent communication skills and a focus on customer serviceExcellent attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skillsUnderstanding of HR processes, best practices, and complianceExperience working with multi-state companies/clients is a plus.Bachelor’s degree preferred, SHRM-CP or PHR a plusThis is a remote position with required travel to the Indianapolis, Indiana area 2 - 3 times per year.
