About the RoleArch Systems is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives, partnerships, and market evaluations that accelerate Arch’s impact in the manufacturing intelligence space. This position plays a critical role in shaping Arch’s long-term strategy by evaluating new markets, building strategic partnerships, and supporting deal execution.What You Will Own & DriveCorporate Strategy & Market InsightsAssess market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform Arch’s growth strategy.Evaluate opportunities in AI for manufacturing, industrial IoT, and related adjacencies that expand Arch’s reach and product capabilities.Partnership & Ecosystem DevelopmentIdentify and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, system integrators, and manufacturing ecosystem players.Build business cases for partnership models and collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess value and integration requirements.M&A Evaluation & ExecutionSupport the full M&A lifecycle—including sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and integration planning.Develop clear frameworks for assessing strategic fit, financial impact, and long-term value creation for potential acquisition targets.Financial & Strategic AnalysisLead the creation of financial models, board-ready presentations, and executive-level analyses that support strategic decisions.Conduct scenario planning, valuation assessments, and strategic recommendation workstreams.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Product, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams to evaluate feasibility, technical alignment, and integration readiness.Work directly with the executive team to align strategic opportunities with broader company objectives.Project Management & ExecutionManage multiple high-impact workstreams at once, ensuring thorough analysis, clear communication, and timely execution.Develop repeatable processes for evaluating opportunities and measuring value creation.What You Bring to the TableExperience4+ years in corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting, venture capital, or equivalent strategy/finance roles.Experience in SaaS, industrial technology, AI/ML, IoT, or manufacturing-focused sectors is highly preferred.EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical field.MBA or other advanced degree preferred but not required.Analytical & Strategic SkillsStrong financial modeling skills, including valuation, scenario analysis, and ROI assessment.Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders.Business AcumenUnderstanding of SaaS metrics, technology business models, and market dynamics.Experience evaluating partnerships, M&A opportunities, or strategic initiatives.Communication & Executive PresenceExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft board-level presentations.Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.Problem-Solving & CreativityDemonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity while identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and proposing creative strategic solutions.Operational ExcellenceHighly organized with a track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to completion.What Makes You Stand OutExperience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or enterprise AI ecosystems.Exposure to commercial diligence, technical diligence, or integration planning.Background supporting executive strategy initiatives in a high-growth startup.Familiarity with SaaS metrics, GTM strategy, or product-market fit evaluation.How We Will Support YouInnovate with Impact: Join a team building advanced AI and data products that meaningfully improve manufacturing operations around the world. This role is remote-first, and compensation is benchmarked using San Francisco Bay Area market data as the reference point for our pay ranges.The San Francisco Bay Area total compensation range for this position is $185,000 – $250,000 USD.For candidates based outside the Bay Area, compensation may be geo-adjusted based on location-specific market data, cost of labor, and local market practices. Final compensation is determined by job-related factors including experience, skills, scope of responsibility, and performance expectations, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.In addition to cash compensation, this role may be eligible for equity awards, aligning individual impact with Arch Systems’ long-term success.Remote EqualArch champions a remote-first work environment since its inception, promoting flexibility and inclusivity across all teams.
