Requirements and responsibilities

What We’re Looking For: - 10–20 years of IT infrastructure experience with deep expertise in network design, routing, and security. - Proven background in Azure infrastructure, including AVD environments. - Solid understanding of firewall management (SonicWall or similar). - Hands-on experience designing and deploying multi-site networks (250–700 users). - Familiarity with Linux environments preferred. - Certifications such as CISSP or equivalent highly desirable. - Strong organizational and time management skills—able to manage multiple concurrent projects. - Detail-oriented and self-regulating, with a passion for learning new technologies. What You’ll Work On - Hybrid environments: mix of cloud (Azure) and on-site infrastructure. - Designing and maintaining switch stacks, physical and virtual servers, routing, and firewall ecosystems. - Supporting voice infrastructure, including a white-labeled PBX solution on Linux. - Managing connectivity and internet performance across client sites. - Working on 2–3 client projects concurrently, with additional internal improvement initiatives in the background. Key Responsibilities: - Design and deploy large-scale, multi-site network environments (250–700 users) including routing, VLAN, and Layer 3 configurations. - Manage and implement firewall, routing, and switching solutions, primarily using SonicWall and other enterprise network tools. - Lead client migrations from on-premises servers to Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments, server builds, and infrastructure transitions. - Serve as a technical escalation point for the service team on complex infrastructure issues. - Participate in project scoping—estimating hours, building work plans, and ensuring delivery within ±10% of the projected budget. - Maintain billable utilization targets by tracking time in ConnectWise and documenting all work accurately and in real-time. - Identify remediation and improvement opportunities during client onboarding and ongoing account management. - Collaborate with project management to plan, schedule, and deliver client-facing projects efficiently.
