Requirements and responsibilities

- Create an advance, scalable and flexible NoSQL DB architecture and solution for the organization - Design a SQL to NoSQL migration strategy to optimize data operations for the organization - Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database software (MongoDB, MySQL, Cassandra or equivalent) - Manage the operations for both development and production databases - Create and configure monitors to establish the health of servers and the databases running on them - Troubleshoot NoSQL issues and performance bottlenecks - Work with internal teams to plan and schedule application upgrades - Manage day-to-day replication processes - Work with customers to help determine and deploy the best datastore technology and data model strategy for their needs - Design, implement, maintain, and automate the appropriate backup and recovery architecture as required - Submit service requests to software vendors and drive resolution through to completion
