Grupin was part of the 6th Surge Cohort, which received initial funding from Sequoia Capital India. I was the first engineer (besides the CTO) to help build the backend, frontend, and data foundation. The founders shut down the company because it did not reach product-market fit. • Created an end-to-end app event tracking data pipeline. From creating event data types, sending events to Pub/Sub, and streaming the data to BigQuery. The pipeline will update the data warehouse in real-time. • Built event-driven microservice integration with 3rd payment gateway using Go to enable two top e-wallets in Indonesia (OVO and GoPay) as payment options. These payments became more than 70% of the source of Grupin's transactions.

Alodokter is Indonesia's top health tech startup, with millions of users and partnerships with hundreds of top hospitals. • Created automated reports for hundreds of hospital partners. Initially, the company needs 4-5 operational admins to send the reports manually every month for 1-2 weeks. The automated reports will run automatically, cutting the manual work from 1-2 weeks to 2 hours. • Revamped the legacy ETL pipeline from MongoDB to BigQuery to be an ELT pipeline using Cloud Storage, which has proven to eliminate data engineers' effort to troubleshoot manually by checking data on the source.

Due to the pandemic situation, the company was shut down. • Built a set of data pipelines to extract all Pegipegi social media accounts' performances and store the data on Google BigQuery • Created an analytics report framework based on marketing and product team requirements. The framework generated a unified report dealing with various data sources such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube APIs, Google Analytics, and app events data.

The pipeline reduced the latency from an hour to seconds. • Created initial ATM raw logs text processing scripts. The tool extracted information from 6 out of 13 types of ATM models in the company. The fraud team uses it to reduce some manual data extraction tasks.

UangTeman was one of Indonesia's first online lending startups, serving thousands of customers. • Reduced marketing reports data pipeline from hours to under 5 minutes by creating incremental data loading and optimizing the queries in AWS Redshift. • Initiated a research project to parse data from ID card images using TensorFlow and Tesseract OCR. The initial version is highly accurate in extracting the ID card numbers.
