I'm a software engineer focused on web applications and cloud backends. I like working across the whole stack — from React frontends and Node.js/Express backends to PostgreSQL and MySQL databases and AWS infrastructure (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch). At Simpl Global, I worked on web applications and the cloud/backend side of an IoT platform. Some of the work I'm proud of: a firmware versioning system backed by S3 and PostgreSQL, an automated update scheduler, backend monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch and SNS, and a database cost-optimization migration. It gave me a real appreciation for how web, cloud, and data systems fit together — and for keeping production reliable. I'm currently studying Systems Engineering at Politécnico Grancolombiano and deepening my backend skills with Python and FastAPI.
