Full-stack Web development
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Greetings, my name is Michael. I am a full-stack web developer and JavaScript enthusiast passionate about clean and easy-to-follow code. I have a background in computer science and have taken courses such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Database Management Systems. Currently, I am enrolled at Microverse, a remote software development program that uses pair programming and project building to teach development. For the past six months, I've been coding eight hours a day using Zoom with software developers from all parts of the world, and have created several projects such as a landing page, a to-do list, and a bookstore CMS built with JavaScript, Webpack, React, and Redux. I've managed to develop extensive knowledge in: º Front-End: JavaScript, React, Redux, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3 º Back-End: Ruby, Rails, MySQL, PostgreSQL º Tools & Methods: Git, GitHub, Netlify, Mobile/Responsive Development, RSpec, TDD, Chrome Dev Tools º Professional: Remote Pair-Programming, Teamwork, Mentoring I am a strong team player who adopts a growth mindset in everything I do. I love all aspects of coding. Mainly I like building great UI, and scalable applications. Collaboration is also my strong suit, as I was named the top collaborator of the month at Microverse for mentoring prospective junior developers. I have always wanted to work in a big tech company, where I can contribute to projects that deliver excellent services to customers. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are willing to collaborate or need your application coded. I am open to work and looking for a Sofware Development position.
