Senior Network and Cybersecurity Specialist with 17+ years designing, defending and scaling mission-critical infrastructure for ISPs, enterprises, data centers, industry and research environments. I started in the field with point-to-point radios and microwave links, then grew into engineering leadership.
Carrier and enterprise networking is my core: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPv6, VLAN, VXLAN/EVPN, IPsec and SD-WAN in production. Hands-on Cisco since 2015, across routing and switching, with a strong CLI preference. I also administer Catalyst Center and Meraki through their management platforms. Multivendor by necessity and by choice: Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, Huawei, Nokia, Furukawa Lightera, MikroTik, SonicWall, Ubiquiti and Datacom.
As co-founder and CTO of a regional ISP, I ran the operation end to end, from backbone to billing. We scaled from a network under construction to 3,000+ subscribers with 56% average yearly growth, executed a 24x7 data center migration with no customer-perceived interruption, deployed automated DDoS mitigation via NetFlow analysis and BGP blackhole, and sustained a 24/7 SLA in production. I led a team of up to 25 people across engineering, NOC, support, sales and administration.
Today I lead network and cybersecurity engineering at Redes Tecnologia e Serviços, a multivendor integrator, where I own architecture and delivery for enterprise LAN, WLAN, security and data center projects and lead a team of six engineers. I am also the architect and technical lead of three products: our AI-driven DCIM platform, a multi-agent lead-qualification system and a new corporate ERP. I designed the company's LAN/WLAN Network Assessment methodology, and I deliver and sell it.
I combine network architecture with offensive and defensive cybersecurity, automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and cloud (AWS, Proxmox). My postgraduate degree in Offensive Cybersecurity formalized what was already routine: hardening, penetration testing, incident response and NOC/SOC integration.
I am practical before theoretical. What drives me is designing infrastructure that does not go down, does not leak and does not slow the business down.
