    As undergraduate thesis we developed and implemented an IoT and embedded system using an ARM CORTEX M4 microcontroller of Texas Instruments (TM4C123GH6PM) for monitoring in almost real time patients with cardiopathies; based on the master degree work done before by the engineer Antonio Ricardo González, our challenge was implementing a variation of the wavelet transform embedded into the MCU that could detect R waves from patients ECG to determine if an arrhythmia were occurring on real time. For this Project we also implemented the informatic platform (backend and frontend) that simulated the hospital data center where the embedded device connect so that the physician could retrieve the monitored patient ECG data.
