I am an AI Engineering Manager at Wind River, a global leader in delivering software for intelligent systems. I lead, coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team of highly skilled DevSecOps analytics platform engineers, serving clients such as NASA, Vodafone, Toshiba, Abbott, and Google. I have a servant-leader mindset and actively build a growth mindset and caring, respectful culture among my team and the rest of the company. I have successfully delivered multiple projects involving machine learning, cloud computing, data engineering, data visualization, user interface, and embedded AI, ensuring quality, security, and scalability.
I have a strong academic background and passion for data science, artificial intelligence and software development. I hold 2 master's degree, one in Big Data and Business Analytics and the other one in Data Science and Big Data. Finally, I am pursuing another master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, expected to graduate in March 2024. I am also a Machine Learning Professor at Tecnológico de Costa Rica and Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, where I teach the most common algorithms used in machine learning, NLP, and computer vision. I have multiple certifications, specializations, and nanodegrees in SQL, Azure, Tableau, Qlikview, Scrum, and Machine Learning. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to share my knowledge and experience with others.
