Fowzia Haji Abdi

As a passionate and experienced educator, I integrate Progressive education principles into student engagement, instruction, and classroom organization. I create a nurturing environment, employ inquiry methods, and ensure excellence in core subjects. My collaborative approach extends to working with "Specials" teachers, ESL instructors, and Teaching Assistants. I actively contribute to cross cultural understanding, maintain strong parent relationships, and engage in continuous professional development. Additionally, I participate in curriculum development using the "Understanding by Design" format, and contribute to special events beyond regular school hours.
