PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Fulbright scholar at Rice University. Automation engineer from Universidad de La Salle, Colombia, and awarded as a Young Researcher by Minciencias-Colombia in 2017. In 2020, I earned my MSc in Industrial Automation from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
My work focuses on distributed optimization, multi-agent control, and machine learning for complex systems. I have contributed as a reviewer for high-impact journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Automatica, Systems & Control Letters, CHAOS, ICML, and NeurIPS. I also serve on the editorial team of Artificial Intelligence Advances. As an active member and former general co-chair of LatinX in AI (LXAI), I support initiatives that advance AI research in Latin America.
