Freelancers deserve to take time off and get paid for it.
We know that freelancers need income protection. But based on our survey, 91.8% are uncovered against health and family-related loss of income.
Traditional insurance does not fit the needs, lifestyles and values of freelancers. So we created Covary.
Covary is a co-sharing income protection designed for freelancers who care for each other. Share your protection with thousands of freelancers like you and receive co-sharing protection right when you need it.
WHO I AM
I make things happen. I build. I innovate.
✅ I am a forward-thinking Senior Operations & Business Development Executive with a proven record of accomplishments in the high-tech industry for 10+ years.
✅ My core genius is in building startups from the ground up. I focus on building a team, enhancing revenue and streamlining business operations to drive profit and growth.
✅ My experience at the IDF and in running a family business early on in my career, as well as my legal background and my passion for building startups, enable me to quickly address challenges in the operations, legal and financial aspects of a business.
WHY I AM HERE
My father was self-employed from the age of 21 until he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and became disabled at 53.
It was a devastating experience for my family to see him struggle against losing his identity.
Three years prior to his diagnosis, he made business mistakes that the family was not aware of. Setting aside the medical and caregiving expenses we dealt with, we were left with no income and financial safety net.
My father purchased disability insurance. We thought it would give us the protection he was promised.
We were wrong.
The insurance company didn’t see our family's situation as urgent even if it already took a toll on our financial and mental health.
They made the process slow, argued about my father’s eligibility, and made us hire an expensive lawyer.
The ordeal finally ended when they paid us after 3 years. Three long years!
I had to put aside my personal life; I took charge of our family business until it reached financial stability.
This experience taught me that income protection for freelancers is a matter of life and death. The conflict of interest between insurance companies and the insured is not acceptable anymore. We need to change it.
MY MISSION
I am reinventing income loss protection so every freelancer can take time off without them and their families worrying about the bills. Are you with me?.
