I took up Bachelor of Science in Psychology in college, and graduated in 2008. I've spent almost a decade working in the BPO industry as a Customer Service Representative. During my time there, I was able to learn a lot of skills, not just limited to providing customer support and basic technical skills, but most importantly, having a reliable and consistent work ethic.
I also worked as a Virtual Assistant for an American employer based in Canada. As a Virtual Assistant, my work was mainly focused on editing transcripts for videos and podcasts, adding closed captions to videos, and other administrative duties. My experience as a Virtual Assistant has definitely helped me learn and adapt to the work from home setup, which I have fully enjoyed.
