    Senior Software Engineer
    Bluescape
    Jan 2020 - Jan 2024 (4 years 1 month)
Led engineering activities for modeling and prototyping of the new features to meet the growing demand on the performance, efficiency, and usability improvements of the Bluescape application. Managed developing and maintenance efforts within the software development team to deliver in time multiple application features and to provide a prompt response to requests from the customer support team. • Led the design, architecture and implementation of multiple application features including back-end service components serving up a graphQL endpoint for both internal and API consumption. • Led the development team working on implementation of the front-end features which includes support of the variety of API services such as an activity feed s
  • Chess.com
    Senior iOS Developer
    Chess.com
    Jan 2016 - Jan 2020 (4 years 1 month)
Performed preliminary design and prototyping with subsequent development of the new features in the chess.com iOS project, as well as supported maintenance of the current features and participated in development of the ChessKid and other iOS related applications. • Involved in design of the high level architecture. Collaborated with other Design and API teams to coordinated ideas and implementation for new features. Come up with proposals to re-design of the application flow and interface to increase efficiency. • Lead a team to prototype and implement new features for chess.com such as tournaments and lessons for the end-user. • Created documentation of the implemented improvements and fixed bugs as reported by users and the QA team.

The effects of the spatial distribution of bottom topography and bottom drag on wave-train formation
Water Quality Research Journal of Canada
    Jan 2012
Using numerical simulations of shallow water equations modified to include weakly non-hydrostatic effects, we illustrate how spatially varying bottom drag and finite amplitude topography lead to the bending of wave trains that develop fro initial standing waves. For the case of variable topography, we discuss how the seiche and the wave trains that develop can resuspend material (e.g. nutrients) from the bottom of the lake and redistribute it in space. The numerical methods employed are spectrally accurate in space and second-order in time, yielding excellent accuracy and little numerical dissipation.
