After 8+ years leading teams in global e-learning, I’ve decided to take a step back and lean into my lifelong curiosity. While I’ve always been passionate about operations and team growth, my management style has always been 'hands-on'. I believe in leading by doing and keeping a deep, practical understanding of the technical work my teams deliver. My real obsession, however, has been language and phonetics—specifically how technology can make learning more accessible.
For the last 10 months, I’ve been on a deep-dive, self-taught journey into AI Engineering. I wanted to move beyond just managing and get my hands back on the keyboard full-time to build what I used to manage.
What I’ve been working on:
Building with AI: I spend my days experimenting with LLMs, RAG workflows, and speech models. I’m currently building tools to help with language pronunciation and documenting everything through personal projects.
Technical Foundations: I’ve been getting comfortable with the "nuts and bolts"—running models locally using Docker and CUDA, and building out proper technical architecture (like C4 models and ADRs) for my own code.
Continuous Learning: I’m currently wrapping up the IBM Generative AI Engineering specialization, trying to connect my past experience in customer success with my new obsession with AI.
I’m an empathetic leader at heart, but right now, I’m an engineer in practice. I’m looking for a team where I can bring my mix of operational experience and technical curiosity to build products that actually help people learn and communicate.
