Hey there! 👋 I’m early in my journey as a bioinformatician, but I’m actively building real projects and strengthening my skills every day.I learn by doing — analyzing datasets, exploring genomics tools, and sharing my progress like a digital lab notebook. Each project helps me grow from a beginner into someone who can confidently work with biological data.
Some projects I’ve completed so far:
🌱 Maize RNA-Seq (drought stress): my first full workflow from QC → alignment → DEGs → enrichment
🧬 Protein function prediction: exploring ML + biological features
📊 NHANES disease prediction: applying machine learning to real clinical datasets
These projects taught me the basics of NGS analysis, biological interpretation, and beginner-level ML — and I’m improving with every experiment.
Current Focus :
Building working knowledge of Python & R for bioinformatics workflows
Hands-on practice with NGS analysis (QC, alignment, DEG, enrichment)
Learning machine learning for biology (XGBoost, Random Forest, SHAP basics)
Strengthening my ability to build and run full pipelines with guidance
Deepening my interest in plant genomics and stress-response biology
Staying consistent, curious, and committed to improving every dayI’m inspired by the possibilities at the intersection of genomics, plant science, and computational biology, and I’m excited to keep growing through real projects, collaborations, and new opportunities.Let’s connect and learn together!
